Job Description
Experience: Senior Level
Salary: $125,000 - $160,000 per year
Sr Mechanical Engineer PE - (Energy/Commissioning/MEP Assessments)We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer with strong experience performing Property/Site Assessments of MEP Building Systems including Energy Audits and Commissioning.
Requirements- Bachelors or Masters in Mechanical Engineer or equivalent
- PE License Desired
- 10-15+ years of MEP Consulting Firm experience engaging in Engineering, Design and Evaluation of Large-Scale MEPF Building Systems
- HVAC and Plumbing System expertise is Required, with of knowledge of Electrical & Fire Protection Systems
- Experience in Facilities Engineering, Energy Audits, Commissioning, and Sustainability Consulting
- Knowledge of State & National Building Codes & Standards.
- Combine your interest in sustainable design with regulatory expertise to develop effective solutions for clients.
- CEM or LEED Certifications preferred, but Not Required
- Demonstrated leadership and project management successes
- Ability to communicate in a professional manner, remain organized, and multitask
- Decision-making and problem-solving experience in a technical role
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Plan Grid
- Conduct Property Condition Assessments (PCAs), Perform Energy Audits, Commissioning, and Forensic Evaluations of MEPF Building Systems.
- Design, Construction Management, Evaluations of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection Systems
- Provide Estimations of probable Costs to Repair or Replace Systems
- Peer Review Building Designs
- Interact, Coordinate, and Communicate clearly with Site Personnel and Clients
- Contribute to a wide variety of projects, each offering unique challenges and the opportunity to make a lasting impact.
- Travel to Project Sites as needed
