Electrical​/Solar Design Engineer- Utility Scale

Responsibilities

• Design and simulate electrical systems for utility-scale solar projects.
• Conduct site assessments and generate electrical documentation and layouts.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Optimize photovoltaic system configurations for maximum efficiency and reliability.
• Participate in the innovation of new solar technologies and integration practices.
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders to define project requirements and deliverables.
• Support the technical review and testing of solar equipment and systems.

Required Skills

• Proficient in PVsyst, Auto
• CAD, and other simulation and CAD software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent technical writing and communication abilities
• Knowledge of NEC, IBC, and relevant solar design regulations
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
