We're partnering with an innovative aerospace company developing next‑generation communication systems for satellites, spacecraft, UAVs, and other advanced aerospace platforms. As the company continues to grow, they're looking for an experienced Senior Supplier Quality Engineer to help ensure the highest standards of supplier quality across complex electronic and aerospace hardware.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast‑paced environment where you'll collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and operations teams to drive supplier excellence and support the delivery of cutting‑edge space technologies.
What You'll Be Doing- Develop and maintain supplier quality processes in accordance with AS9100 requirements.
- Partner with Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, and Manufacturing to ensure supplier compliance with quality and technical requirements.
- Qualify, evaluate, and manage supplier performance throughout the supplier lifecycle.
- Provide technical guidance and support to suppliers to improve quality and manufacturing performance.
- Lead supplier corrective actions (SCARs), root cause investigations, and corrective action implementation.
- Manage supplier nonconformances, RMAs, rework, and disposition activities.
- Conduct supplier audits and source inspections as required.
- Analyze supplier performance metrics, including quality, delivery, and corrective action effectiveness.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and build strong supplier partnerships.
- Support Design for Manufacturability (DFM) initiatives alongside engineering teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical discipline.
- 5–8+ years of supplier quality experience within the aerospace or defense industry.
- Strong knowledge of AS9100 or other certified Quality Management Systems.
- Experience managing suppliers supporting machining, PCBs, PCBAs, electronic assemblies, or aerospace hardware.
- Proven experience with supplier audits, supplier qualification, SCARs, CAPA, and root cause analysis.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and supplier flow‑down requirements.
- Strong communication, supplier management, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
- Experience with in aerospace electronics manufacturing is highly preferred.
