Lab Pack Chemist

Clean Harbors is actively seeking a dedicated Cleanpack Chemist to join our Environmental Health & Safety team. This role is pivotal in assisting our mission to ensure the safe and compliant handling, processing, and disposal of chemical materials. Responsibilities

• Identification and classification of chemical and hazardous materials according to safety and regulatory aspects.
• Packaging, labeling, and preparing chemical materials for transportation in compliance with DOT and EPA regulations.
• Conducting chemical analysis and compatibility tests to ensure safe and effective processing and disposal.
• Maintaining accurate records and logs of all activities and analyses for compliance and operational standards.
• Providing technical support and training to team members regarding the handling and management of hazardous materials.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and enhance chemical management systems and procedures.
• Ensuring all practices align with company sustainability goals and legal environmental standards.
