Roads & Highways Engineering Intern – Summer

Overview

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Roads & Highways Engineering Intern – Summer 2027 to join our Denver, CO office.

• Provide administrative and operations support to Roads & Highways Engineering staff
• Collaborate with engineers on Roadway plan production tasks
• Perform simple drafting and CAD assignments following detailed instructions
• Assist in the compilation of design data and the preparation of construction plans

• EXPERIENCE:
  • No experience is generally required if accepted into an Associate'S or Bachelor's degree program in a related technical field.
• EDUCATION:
  • Must have completed 60 hours towards a civil engineering degree from an ABET accredited program by the start of the internship (Summer 2026).
• SPECIAL
  
  SKILLS:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Micro Station, or Open Roads Designer (preferred)

Expected compensation range is between $25 - $31 hourly depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
