Position Summary:We are seeking a Field Services Specialist with a minimum of 7-10+ years of experience in commissioning and/or operations at oil and gas facilities, Biogas facilities and or Saltwater Disposals. Experience in other industrial sectors is also acceptable and will be considered for evaluation. This role is primarily field-based and will support field projects, with occasional assignments to other field projects as needed.
The successful candidate will work closely with Commissioning Project Managers to support project execution from planning through closeout. This includes technical coordination, documentation, and hands-on field work depending on project scope and schedule.
Essential Job Functions:The following duties are considered essential to the role. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions:
- Support project planning and development of tools, procedures, and documentation prior to field mobilization.
- Coordinate and communicate with all project stakeholders, including LDIS, clients, vendors, and third-party contractors.
- Manage vendor coordination and logistics.
- Attend and contribute to project meetings.
- Assist with budget tracking and schedule updates as requested.
- Conduct services for clients which include but is not limited to commissioning, optimizing, facility tuning, construction support, engineering support, laser scans, P&, leak tests, due diligence, and other tasks as needed.
- Execute commissioning and field tasks as assigned, based on project needs.
- Associate’s degree or higher.
- Minimum of 7-10+ years of relevant experience in commissioning or operations, preferably in oil and gas (other industries considered).
- Ability to read and understand P&’s required.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Travel 80% of the time to different work sites.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in dynamic field environments.
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools is a plus.
- Proficiency in Process flow diagrams (PFDs).
- Experience with closed vent surveys (CVS).
$110,000 - $140,000. Please note that Tetra Tech considers various factors in determining pay, including but not limited to education, relevant and demonstrated work experience in the role, skills, geographic location, qualifications, certifications, and other competencies relevant to the needs of the business.
Physical Requirements:- This position involves a mix of activities, including occasional sitting, frequent walking across job sites, prolonged standing and regular movement.
- The person in this position needs to frequently move about in the work site to conduct services for clients.
- Occasionally ascends/descends a ladder to read data tags on equipment, adjusting a level controller, and other duties as assigned.
