Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Mechanical Design (Small Assemblies Modeling and Design)
- Modeling and 2D detailing
- Developing large assemblies
- I-parts
- Item Master generation (Part Numbers) and Product Structure creation (Bills of Materials)
- (ECR) Engineering Change Requests, processing and response
- (ECO) Engineering Change Orders, processing and response
- Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge
- Contribute to mechanical engineering effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed; providing information and commentary pertinent to deliberations; recommending options and courses of action; implementing directives.
- Contribute to team effort
- Travel up to 3-5% to support sales efforts.
- Knowledge, skills and/or abilities:
- Knowledge- software
- Microsoft Office Suite (Work, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) – as applied to Engineering Systems
- Autodesk Inventor
- (PDM) Product Data Management system (i.e., Lawson/M3,Business Central)
- AutoCAD 2D
- Knowledge of Materials, Mechanical Components and their use
- Knowledge of Basic Mechanical systems
- Hydraulic and Pneumatic power and motion systems
- Mechanical/Electric drives
