- Complete tasks supporting air quality-related frameworks, compliance reporting, permitting, and stakeholder communication
- Provide technical understanding related to regulatory requirements, compliance obligations, and voluntary frameworks
- Interact with project team members to prepare and submit client deliverables, including greenhouse gas emissions reports and air quality permits
- Utilize air quality reporting and software tools such as Pro Max
- Assist clients with compliance and voluntary air quality reporting programs
- Work proactively with SLR project managers to maintain a sustainable workload
- Travel for short durations to visit project locations and attend meetings
- With appropriate experience, temporarily work as an SLR representative in a client office
- Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or closely related scientific field
- Zero to 2 years of experience solving environmental problems, calculating air quality emissions, and interpreting permits or environmental regulations
- Previous experience in air quality permitting and compliance consulting is a plus
- Technical writing skills and experience writing comprehensive technical reports
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite software and PDF software
- Ability to visit industrial and manufacturing facilities
- Excellent proofreading and writing skills
- Logical and methodical problem solving
- Effective time management of multiple project tasks
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Understanding of budgets and deadlines
