Direct and manage parking lot traffic flow during Rockies home games and special events at Coors Field. Ensure smooth vehicle movement, safe parking practices, and positive customer interactions in a fast-paced event environment.

  • Schedule: Part-time, varies Monday through Sunday for ALL Rockies Home Games and select concerts/events
Essential Functions
  • Perform flagging duties to direct vehicle traffic and maximize parking lot efficiency during events.
  • Ensure tasks are completed according to all applicable company, local, state, and federal rules and regulations.
  • Effectively communicate problems or concerns to the Supervisor or Manager.
  • Direct parkers to available parking spaces and assist in proper vehicle alignment within designated lines.
  • Use hand signals and flags to communicate with drivers clearly and safely.
  • Maintain order and safety in parking areas during high-traffic event periods.
  • Answer questions regarding parking procedures, payment options, and lot layout.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, kneel, squat, bend at the waist, and hold flags/tools with both hands.
  • Perform duties for extended periods near moving traffic and outside conditions, including inclement weather, cold and wind, heat and humidity, and possible exposure to dust and asphalt.
Experience Required
  • Prior parking lot or traffic direction experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to stay calm and focused in high-volume environments.
Skills
  • Willingness to be flexible and work multiple facility locations.
  • Ability to handle challenging and, at times, emotionally charged situations.
  • Ability to speak, read, and comprehend the English language.
  • Must be able to make decisions independently and stay firm on decisions made.
  • Strong communication and hand signal proficiency.
Physical Demands
  • Willingness to work in the elements - heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 10 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and run for extended periods.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, squat, and lift frequently throughout a shift.
  • Ability to hold and wave flags for extended periods.
