Controller, Finance & Banking, Financial Manager

Description

We are looking for an experienced Controller to join our team in Denver, Colorado. In this role, you will oversee financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance while managing a team of professionals. Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the accounting department, ensuring all financial operations are accurate and compliant with regulations.

- Prepare and analyze financial reports, providing insights to guide strategic decision-making.

- Develop and implement policies and procedures to optimize efficiency and maintain financial integrity.

- Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes to support organizational goals.

- Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate the performance of the accounting team.

- Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of financial strategies.

- Monitor and manage cash flow to maintain financial stability.

- Implement and maintain systems for document control and scanning to improve operational efficiency.

- Drive process improvements across financial operations, particularly in manufacturing or distribution environments.

Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

- Minimum of 10 years of accounting experience, with demonstrated expertise in financial management.

- Proven leadership experience, including managing and developing a team.

- CPA certification is strongly preferred.

- Familiarity with manufacturing or distribution industries is highly advantageous.

- Proficiency in document control and scanning processes.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
