SVP of Finance & Accounting

CV Resources is hiring for a top executive in Finance reporting directly to the Founder for a high‑growth technology company. They are scaling rapidly through organic growth. The environment is fast‑paced, data‑heavy, and highly complex. They are seeking someone with industry experience and hands-on financial oversight.

The Finance Executive will serve as a hands‑on financial leader, partnering closely with the CEO and executive team. This role requires someone who is equally comfortable operating at a strategic level and working in the details
-verifying numbers, driving process cleanup, and strengthening the accounting and finance foundation.

Financial Leadership & Strategy

• Serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and board, providing financial guidance, insights, and scenario modeling.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and long‑term planning.
• Drive financial discipline and support continued organic growth.

Accounting Oversight & Operational Rigor

• Oversee all day‑to‑day accounting operations, including month‑end close, financial reporting, and audit readiness.
• Verify financial accuracy and lead ongoing cleanup and process improvement efforts.
• Manage and develop a small but high‑impact accounting team
• Lead financial operations in a complex billing environment, including MRR, usage‑based billing, metered consumption models, and multi‑channel contracts.
• Oversee revenue recognition in accordance with GAAP; prior experience implementing or managing rev rec processes is strongly preferred.
• Prepare and support external audits

Systems & Infrastructure

• Enhance financial reporting, dashboards, automation, and control frameworks.

• Active CPA preferred.
• Strong background in technology or SaaS‑like financial environments.
• Experience in complex, usage‑based billing environments strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to operate “in the weeds” while also thinking strategically.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to dig into details.
• Financial modeling experience (models already exist but require ownership and optimization).
