We’re seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Banker with strong Credit Risk Validation/Evaluation (CRV) expertise and a proven record of delivering high‑quality credit solutions. This role will lead complex client relationships, structure sophisticated lending facilities, and ensure credit discipline across a diverse commercial portfolio.
Key Responsibilities- Relationship Management: Build, deepen, and retain relationships with middle‑market and commercial clients across targeted industries; serve as a trusted advisor on credit and treasury needs.
- Credit Excellence: Lead end‑to‑end underwriting, including detailed financial analysis (cash flow, leverage, coverage, collateral, guarantor strength), risk rating, and covenant design to ensure sound credit decisions.
- Deal Structuring: Structure, negotiate, and close complex credit facilities (term loans, revolvers, asset‑based lending, equipment finance, real estate‑backed, and acquisition financing) aligned with risk appetite and return targets.
- Portfolio Quality: Maintain portfolio health through proactive monitoring, early‑warning detection, action plans, and disciplined annual/periodic reviews; drive remediation where needed.
- CRV / Governance: Champion credit risk validation standards—model use, stress testing, sensitivity analysis, and independent review feedback—to continuously improve underwriting quality.
- Growth & Origination: Generate new business through targeted outreach, centers‑of‑influence, and cross‑sell across treasury, deposits, FX, and merchant services while meeting profitability and ROE goals.
- Compliance & Controls: Ensure adherence to credit policy, regulatory requirements, documentation standards, and audit readiness; partner closely with Credit, Risk, and Legal.

Collaboration:
Mentor junior bankers/analysts, contribute to credit committees, and collaborate with product partners to deliver comprehensive client solutions.
$175,000 to $210,000 per year annual salary.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
