We are seeking an experienced and strategic Controller to lead and manage all accounting operations across the organization. This role is responsible for overseeing financial reporting, internal controls, compliance, budgeting, and team leadership. The ideal candidate is hands‑on, detail‑oriented, and capable of supporting a fast‑growing, multi‑entity luxury hospitality business while maintaining financial excellence and operational efficiency. You will be in the office with the team 4 days per week in the Denver Tech Center.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee all accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed assets
- Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process to ensure timely and accurate reporting
- Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP
- Develop, implement, and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management processes
- Monitor financial performance and provide strategic analysis and recommendations to executive leadership
- Manage multi‑entity accounting and consolidations across destinations
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial partners
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax requirements
- Oversee treasury functions, banking relationships, and cash management strategies
- Support operational leaders with financial insights and reporting to drive performance
- Develop, mentor, and manage the accounting team
- Identify and implement process improvements and systems enhancements to increase efficiency and scalability
- Assist with special projects, acquisitions, and expansion initiatives as needed
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
- Experience managing multi‑entity or multi‑location operations
- Advanced proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
- Strong leadership and communication abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, growth‑oriented environment
- High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential financial information
- Experience with Sage Intaact a plus
- Experience in hospitality, luxury travel, real estate, or property management industries
- Experience with ERP implementations or system integrations
- Background in high‑growth companies
- Experience managing remote or distributed accounting teams

Salary + Bonus:
Commensurate with experience. Annual Salary plus Bonus Opportunity ranges from $125,000 to $160,000 depending on experience. Position includes extensive benefits including 401(k) matching, health, dental, vision and so much more.
