Accounting & Finance, Senior Accountant
Launch is a certified minority and woman owned staffing firm, focused on direct hire placements in finance and accounting. Our client is a boutique professional services firm based in Colorado, providing interim and fractional finance leadership to growing and transitioning organizations. They value collaboration, integrity, and excellence — helping clients bridge transitions with confidence. They are currently looking to add an Interim Senior Accountant to join the team as a 1099 independent contractor.
This is a hands‑on, roll‑up‑your‑sleeves role where you will lead the client’s accounting and finance operations and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting during the assignment. You will have the opportunity to work with clients across a variety of industries and company sizes.
Why Interim is different from a part‑time/fractional roleYou may receive guidance from your Controller/CFO or our team, but in some cases may be the primary accounting contact for the client and you will take full ownership of your accounting responsibilities during the assignment. The assignment is time‑limited, typically 3–6 months, with full time (or near full time) expected hours, and with a clear hand‑off expectation to the next permanent hire.
You will operate at a pace and responsibility level consistent with an embedded interim professional, not a light‑support or fractional role. We value team collaboration and provide the support you need to deliver excellent results.
