The Treasury Analyst plays a critical role in the day-to-day management of the organization’s liquidity and banking operations. This position is responsible for determining the company’s daily cash position, executing required cash movements, and supporting all treasury operations. The role also contributes to treasury process optimization, compliance, and strategic initiatives that enhance operational efficiency.
This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule.
Pay: $/hour, dependent on experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Open and close bank accounts as requested, including managing account documents, and updating and maintaining records of authorized signers.
- Process banking-related research requests, including: bank statement copies, check copies, stop payments, transaction inquiries, NSF checks, forwarding online statements to property accounting and various other research issues as needed.
- Initiate all wire and electronic account transfers.
- Prepare ongoing intercompany loan reporting and month-end interest calculation.
- Monitor and address all ACH and positive pay exceptions.
- Monitor bank account balances to ensure adequate liquidity; research and resolve any overdrafts.
- Research available banking services to drive continuously improving treasury efficiencies.
- Articulate and integrate the mission and the core values of Respect, Justice and Mercy into day-to-day work.
- Adapt to changes in structure and work priorities while working in a complex and changing organization.
- Exhibit intellectual curiosity, problem-solve issues as they arise, and meet all deadlines, while maintaining a calm demeanor under pressure.
- Approach work with a detail-oriented and quantitative mindset.
- Advanced Excel skills, with proficiency in accounting applications and banking platforms.
- Work both independently and in groups, and willing to help team members in order to achieve departmental goals.
- Willingness to learn, seek advice and take direction from coworkers, when appropriate.
- Communicate clearly in both verbal and written form and relate effectively with others.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related degree.
- Two (2) to three (3) years of treasury experience.
- Experience with multi-legal entity organizations.
- One (1) year of treasury experience.
