Senior Digital Asset & Blockchain Risk Consultant Role Summary

This role supports the delivery of consulting engagements focused on operational, risk, and compliance considerations for blockchain‑enabled financial products. The Senior Staff will contribute to client projects involving stable coins, tokenized assets, and digital‑asset infrastructure while building foundational expertise in regulatory expectations, risk frameworks, and emerging blockchain technologies. This role is execution‑oriented and designed to develop future leaders in Crowe’s digital‑asset practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support consulting engagements related to stablecoin programs, tokenized assets, digital custody, and blockchain‑enabled payments.
  • Assist in the development of governance structures, operating models, and risk frameworks for blockchain‑based financial products.
  • Draft policies, procedures, process documentation, and control artifacts for digital‑asset activities.
  • Perform risk assessments, control testing, and documentation aligned to regulatory expectations.
  • Support regulatory exam preparation, issue tracking, and remediation efforts.
  • Assist with third‑party risk assessments of digital‑asset vendors, including custody and blockchain analytics providers.
  • Conduct research on blockchain protocols, regulatory developments, and emerging digital‑asset risks.
  • Contribute to internal tools, templates, and knowledge repositories.
  • Collaborate with Managers and Senior Managers to deliver high‑quality client outcomes.
Required Experience & Qualifications
  • 4‑6 years of experience in professional services, banking, fintech, or other regulated financial institutions.
  • Exposure to digital assets, blockchain technology, or fintech initiatives through consulting, risk, compliance, audit, or operational roles.
  • Foundational understanding of blockchain concepts, digital assets, and distributed ledger technology.
  • Experience supporting risk management, compliance, audit, or control activities in regulated environments.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to learn and apply regulatory guidance and emerging supervisory expectations.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience supporting financial institutions or fintechs engaged in digital‑asset or payments initiatives.
  • Exposure to blockchain analytics, transaction monitoring, or digital‑asset compliance tools.
  • Prior consulting or advisory experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, technology, or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience may be considered.
  • Coursework, certifications, or self‑directed learning related to blockchain, digital assets, or financial regulation.

Salary Range

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $74,100.00 – $ per year.
