Transamerica is organized into three distinct businesses. These include
1) World Financial Group, including Transamerica Financial Advisors,
2) Protection Solutions and Savings & Investments, comprised of life insurance, annuities, employee benefits, retirement plans, and Transamerica Investment Solutions, and
3) Financial Assets, which includes legacy blocks of long term care, universal life, and variable and fixed annuities. These are supported by Transamerica Corporate, which includes Finance, People and Places, General Counsel, Risk, Internal Audit, Strategy and Development, and Corporate Affairs, which covers Communications, Brand, and Government and Policy Affairs.
* Enhance relationships with key service providers, vendors, customers, financial advisors, and wholesaling staff.
* Provide timely support for portfolio managers, including working with institutional trading partners, monitoring as-of trading activity as well as any resulting fund impact.
* Act as a resource to fully resolve escalated customer and financial advisor service issues; perform root cause analysis, communicating resolution and taking action toward service recovery.
* Perform oversight of service providers based on operational guidelines and procedures related to responsibilities such as the year-end shareholder tax reporting process, direct business trade functions, fund pricing and distributions, and cash control.
* Provide appropriate information to the Operations Management team regarding potential servicing issues.
* Support internal and external audits; complete research requests from Transamerica's Legal and Compliance teams with an increased attention to detail and strong degree of precision.
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience.
* Two years of mutual fund or relationship/vendor management experience.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to establish and positively influence business relationships.
* Proficient using MS Office products.
* Broad understanding of the mutual fund landscape.
* Familiarity with service provider products and recordkeeping platforms.
