A $15+ billion asset manager seeks to hire a Finance Manager based out of its headquarters in Denver, CO. The role will work across four internal business lines including structured credit, leveraged lending, real estate finance, & public equities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create detailed financial models and performance reports to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
  • Establish strong working relationships with Investment Managers overseeing each platform.
  • Analyze financial performance and provide support for key factors driving profitability.
  • Manage financial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Succinctly and effectively communicate explanations of results as well as strategic recommendations to improve efficiency and profitability.
  • Collaborate with accounting and finance teams to ensure alignment of financial plans with business objectives. Must be a self-starter and have a strong desire to understand each business unit in detail.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics, providing insights to management on trends and variances.
  • Conduct market research and comparative peer analysis to support strategic initiatives.
  • Identify risks and opportunities in financial performance and present findings to senior leadership.
Desired Experience &

Skills:
  • 5 - 10 years of financial forecasting, planning and analysis experience; experience in an asset management firm is preferred. 2-3 years of public accounting experience is a plus.
  • Poised, Concise, Straightforward Communicator.
  • Strong financial acumen and quantitative skills; excellent analytical abilities.
  • Excellent proficiency in financial modeling and analysis, with experience using financial planning software.
  • Completion of undergraduate studies; CFA , CPA and/or MBA is a plus.
