Finance Manager

Greater Denver Area (On-site leadership role)

A growing, project-based organization is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead financial operations and strategic planning initiatives. This senior leadership role requires a finance professional with deep experience in construction or project-based environments who can balance executive-level strategy with hands-on financial leadership.

This role partners closely with ownership and project leadership to drive profitability, strengthen financial processes, and support long-term growth.

• Lead strategic financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and executive decision support
• Oversee construction/project accounting, including WIP reporting, job costing, and percentage-of-completion revenue recognition
• Provide financial insights that support operational performance, cash flow management, and margin protection
• Manage banking relationships, including credit facilities, financing, and lending negotiations
• Ensure strong accounting operations, financial reporting accuracy, and internal controls
• Lead and develop accounting and finance team members while improving systems and reporting capabilities

• 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience with strong exposure to project-based businesses
• Proven success in both strategic finance leadership and hands-on accounting oversight
• Deep understanding of construction or industrial project financial management
• Experience working closely with operations and project teams to drive financial outcomes
• Strong communication skills and executive presence

• Construction, industrial, engineering, or contracting industry experience
• Experience with construction ERP systems and advanced financial modeling
• CPA and/or MBA preferred but not required
