Sr. Accountant

Description We are looking for a skilled Senior Accountant to join our team in Denver, Colorado. In this role, you will play a key part in overseeing financial processes and ensuring accurate reporting. This position offers an opportunity to contribute your expertise to a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

- Manage the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.

- Maintain and reconcile the general ledger to ensure all transactions are properly recorded.

- Prepare and post journal entries to support financial operations and adjustments.

- Conduct account reconciliations to verify accuracy and resolve discrepancies.

- Oversee bank reconciliations, ensuring proper alignment between financial records and bank statements.

- Collaborate with internal teams to support audits and compliance requirements.

- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic business decisions.

- Ensure adherence to accounting standards and company policies in all financial activities.

- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and related documentation.

- Identify opportunities for process improvements within accounting workflows. Requirements - Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a senior-level role.

- Proficiency in managing month-end close processes and general ledger maintenance.

- Strong skills in preparing journal entries and conducting account reconciliations.

- Experience with bank reconciliation processes and financial accuracy.

- Solid understanding of accounting principles and standards.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
