Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Interim Chief Financial Officer to assist their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $100.00 to $120.00 per hour.
Job Responsibilities:

Lead overall financial direction by partnering with senior leadership and aligning plans with strategic goals.
Evaluate current financial processes and implement improvements to systems reporting and controls.
Build and refine financial models that provide clear scenarios assumptions and actionable insights.
Oversee daily accounting operations including the close reconciliations financial reporting and correction of issues.
Review customer contracts to validate revenue treatment billing accuracy and the integrity of financial data.

Requirements:

Bring prior experience in software as a service including subscription models retention metrics and related performance measures.
Demonstrate strong knowledge of revenue recognition guidance with practical experience applying ASC 606.
Show advanced skill in financial modeling analytics and interpreting model mechanics and assumptions.
Lead external audits by preparing schedules documentation and responses while strengthening internal controls.
Communicate complex topics clearly and work effectively with executives and cross functional teams.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor degree in accounting finance or a related field with a CPA considered an advantage.
Operate comfortably at both strategic and hands on levels and step into detailed work when needed.
Guide forecasting budgeting and reporting improvements and implement scalable processes across finance.
Mentor and develop accounting and finance teams through structure coaching and clear accountability.
Perform in a fast paced environment while managing multiple priorities and driving results with urgency.
