Chief Financial Officer

Our client, located in Denver, CO, is currently in search of a seasoned Chief Financial Officer for a full-time, direct-hire position.

• Lead all corporate finance, accounting, and financial operations.
• Provide strategic financial guidance to the executive team.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, capital management, and compliance.
• Develop financial models and KPIs to drive decision‑making.
• Advise on capital structure, M&A, and investment strategies.
• Monitor performance metrics and identify growth opportunities.
• Supervise accounting operations, monthly closings, and audits.
• Ensure financial statements compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards.
• Manage cash flow, liquidity planning, and banking relationships.
• Develop financial policies for effective treasury operations.
• Oversee risk assessment, insurance, and compliance frameworks.
• Lead and mentor a high‑performing finance and accounting team.
• Promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to enhance financial literacy.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of progressive financial leadership experience.
• Proven track record as a CFO or senior finance executive.
• In‑depth knowledge of GAAP, corporate finance, and budget management.
• Experience with financial software and ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, strategic, and leadership skills.
• Experience in retail, multi‑location operations, or high‑growth environments.
• Background in leading ERP implementations or finance system transformations.
