Job Summary

DaVita's Integrated Kidney Care (IKC) team seeks a senior actuarial analyst to lead analysis of IKC programs, drive key business outcomes, and support value‑based care strategy across the kidney disease care continuum.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead actuarial analysis for IKC programs, translating data into actionable insights that inform leadership decisions and strategy.
  • Analyze medical/pharmacy claims and CMS revenue data to monitor experience, identify drivers of program performance, and forecast future outcomes.
  • Model financial scenarios and sensitivity analyses to quantify risk and uncover opportunities within VBC arrangements.
  • Perform detailed financial and membership reconciliations.
  • Research and synthesize healthcare industry trends to keep IKC at the cutting edge of population health management.
  • Support VBC contracting through actuarial underwriting principles to help develop and negotiate innovative contracts.
  • Develop and present executive‑level findings to senior leadership, communicating the story behind the data.
  • Build strategic relationships with internal and external partners to ensure the financial and operational success of IKC programs.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
  • Successful completion of 2‑4 SOA examinations.
  • Minimum 2 years in a relevant actuarial role, preferably within healthcare.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical mindset and critical‑thinking skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Self‑starter with accountability, adaptability in a fast‑paced environment, and proven execution.
