Assistant Controller

What You Will Own & Influence

• Deliver timely, accurate financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders in accordance with both US GAAP and IFRS standards.
• Analyze job cost reporting and project profitability, partnering with operations to drive margin improvement.
• Support annual budgeting and financial forecasting, helping shape the company’s forward-looking strategy.
• Develop financial analysis tools to evaluate corporate initiatives, investments, and special projects.
• Assist with annual financial audits, including preparation of detailed audit work papers and coordination with external auditors.
• Contribute to quarterly MD&A reporting, helping tell the financial story behind the numbers.
• Reconcile intercompany transactions across multiple currencies, ensuring global accuracy and compliance.

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and CPA (preferred)
• Strong technical accounting knowledge (US GAAP & IFRS)
• Experience in engineering, construction, or project-based industries
• 7-10 years of complex accounting experience, 3-5 years of supervisory experience
• Advanced analytical and modeling skills
• Audit coordination experience
• Confidence working with multi-entity, multi-currency structures
• A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset

Salary: $120-150K + bonus potential
