We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Controller to join our Accounting + Finance team. This role plays a critical part in our company's success, providing leadership and coordination of company financial planning, debt financing, and budget management functions.

• Overseeing the preparation of financial statements, business activity reports, financial forecasts, and annual budgets.
• Directing and coordinating the company's financial planning and budget management functions.
• Monitoring and analyzing monthly operating results against budget.
• Managing the preparation of year-end close processes and financial outlooks.
• Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal budgetary reporting requirements.
• Overseeing daily operations of the finance department.
• Coordinating the preparation of financial audits and providing recommendations for procedural improvements.
• Managing the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data necessary for an accurate accounting of business results.
• Directing the cost accounting, fixed assets, and manufacturing accounting processes.
• Managing cash flow and forecasting needs.
• Reconciling the company's ledger and ensuring accurate financial reporting.

• A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. An MBA or related advanced degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position.
• Comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of financial statements, cost accounting, fixed assets, manufacturing accounting, year-end close, reconciliation, ledger management, financials, cash flow, and consolidations.
• Strong understanding of financial trends both within the company and general market patterns.
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
• Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly with Excel, and familiarity with accounting software and databases.
