Associate - Placement

Marsh (NYSE: MRSH) is a global leader in risk, reinsurance, capital, and consulting, advising clients in 130 countries. We are looking for a Placement Specialist to support our US Product Recall practice.

• Lead placement and advisory efforts on a diverse portfolio of client accounts.
• Develop and execute renewal and placement strategies in collaboration with Placement Leaders and Client Executives.
• Manage coverage reviews and negotiate terms with underwriters to ensure alignment with client requirements.
• Ensure accurate documentation and timely follow‑up of all placement activities within internal systems.
• Submit coverage specifications, manage policy details with underwriters and client teams to provide cohesive client service.
• Assist in invoicing, billing and service‑line tax activities.
• Enter placement data into the system within specified time frames and accurately.
• Perform first checks of policy and confirm policy language to support renewal processes.
• Document all placement activities to ensure timely follow‑up by client, carriers and client team.
• Assist with special projects within the team.
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with carriers, underwriters and market contacts to enhance placement opportunities.
• Monitor market trends and regulatory changes, advising clients and internal teams on impacts and opportunities.
• Collaborate across Marsh teams to deliver integrated, client‑focused solutions.

• College degree.
• 2+ years of relevant commercial lines insurance experience in a support capacity.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) and ability to learn proprietary applications/database.
• Strong organizational and multi‑tasking skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced team environment.
