Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships.
- Assist with tax planning and offer strategic recommendations tailored to client needs.
- Conduct tax research to stay informed on current laws and regulatory changes.
- Respond to inquiries from federal and state tax authorities in a timely manner.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Participate in client interviews and gather relevant financial and tax data.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the tax team and firm objectives.
- Demonstrate proficiency in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Show familiarity with ERP systems and their application in tax workflows.
- Manage multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Possess a CPA certification (preferred but not required).
- Bring 2+ years of experience in tax preparation and planning.
- Communicate effectively with excellent written and verbal skills.
- Apply strong analytical skills and attention to detail in all tasks.
