Controller | Cannabis Manufacturing & Production What You'll Be Doin

• Lead all accounting and financial reporting activities, including month-end close, AP/AR, reconciliations, fixed assets, inventory, and cost accounting
• Develop and improve accounting processes, internal controls, and financial workflows to support continued growth
• Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and business planning
• Deliver meaningful financial reporting and KPIs that improve operational visibility and decision-making
• Support ERP optimization, systems implementation, and process automation initiatives
• Work cross-functionally with operations, sales, and executive leadership to analyze performance and identify opportunities for improvement
• Build and mentor a high-performing accounting team as the organization scales
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and industry-specific financial requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of progressive accounting leadership experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal control
• Experience with cost accounting, inventory management, and manufacturing environments
• ERP implementation, optimization, or systems integration experience
• Ability to balance strategic planning with day-to-day execution
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skill

• CPA preferred
• Experience in cannabis, manufacturing, consumer packaged goods (CPG), or other regulated industries
• Familiarity with complex inventory environments and operational finance
• Knowledge of cannabis-specific accounting considerations, including 280E, is a plus
