Senior Accounting Operations Professional

POSITION SUMMARY

We are hiring a Senior Accounting Operations Professional to own accounts receivable and lease administration across our multi-property portfolio. You will work closely with our Property Accounting Manager, internal property teams, and tenants to ensure clean billing, collections, and lease compliance. This role is a critical seat - accuracy, speed, and ownership matter.

• Manage rent billings, CAM/escalation invoices, and miscellaneous AR across the portfolio
• Maintain AR aging – drive collections activity, escalate as needed
• Apply cash receipts in Yardi
• Coordinate with property managers and operations on tenant billing disputes
• Provide weekly cash collection reports to leadership

• Abstract new and renewal leases into Yardi
• Maintain rent roll accuracy
• Track lease milestones (commencement, escalations, options, expirations)
• Calculate and process annual CAM reconciliations
• Maintain lease compliance and certificate of insurance tracking
• Support property managers with lease interpretation and tenant inquiries

• 5+ years of AR or accounting operations experience in commercial real estate
• 3+ years of lease administration experience (commercial)
• Strong Yardi Voyager proficiency (required)
• Experience with multi-property, multi-entity environments
• Strong communication skills – comfortable interfacing with property managers, tenants, lenders, and senior leadership
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to prioritize across multiple properties
• Bachelor's degree preferred

• Experience with mixed-use, retail, or office properties
• CAM reconciliation experience across complex portfolios
• Familiarity with property accounting close cycles

• Dependable, self‑motivated, punctual, and efficient in handling work assignments
• Ability to maintain a high degree of proficiency while under pressure and with frequent interruptions
• Able to work with a diverse group of people

• Prolonged exposure to viewing a computer screen
• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds
• The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate
• Must be able to travel (10%) within the metropolitan area.
