Senior Pricing Analyst

Ballard Spahr is a nationally recognized law firm with more than 750 lawyers across 19 offices in the United States.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Pricing Analyst to join our Practice Administration team. The role focuses on leading pricing analysis and profitability modeling, developing innovative pricing arrangements, and delivering accurate financial reports for both standard and ad‑hoc requests.

As a Senior Pricing Analyst you will:

• Collaborate with lawyers, practice groups, marketing professionals, and financial management to lead pricing support for new client engagements and RFP submissions.
• Develop and implement complex financial models to assess the profitability of new business proposals.
• Lead the development of creative pricing solutions, including alternative fee arrangements.
• Provide guidance and support to team members, lawyers, and leadership in pricing proposals and approvals.
• Help drive the evaluation and setting of standard and national billing rates using benchmarking tools and internal analytics.
• Proactively analyze profitability and key financial metrics for the firm's departments, practices, and clients to drive revenue growth and present findings to leadership.

• Undergraduate or graduate degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Data Analytics.
• 7+ years of experience in a pricing analytics role at a law firm.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Regular and predictable attendance is a core requirement of this position, and candidates must be willing to work beyond standard scheduled hours when necessary to meet business needs. The position is hybrid, working 3 days in the office.

The salary range for this position is $95,000 to $115,000, which reflects the firm’s good faith estimate of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual pay will depend on experience, qualifications, and location.
