Corporate Finance Manager, Enterprise Functions / SG&A

Voyager is an innovative technology company focused on delivering mission‑critical solutions in the space, defense, and national security sectors. We partner with our leaders to secure national security and drive breakthrough technology.

Position Description

The Corporate Finance Manager, Enterprise Functions / SG&A will serve as the central financial authority for all corporate SG&A costs, reporting directly to the VP of Corporate Finance. This role owns the consolidation, planning, and performance analysis of SG&A across Human Resources, Information Technology, Legal, Marketing, and Executive Leadership, delivering a clear, integrated view of total corporate overhead.

Key responsibilities include rigorous investment analysis, modeling Voyager’s pathway to AEBITDA profitability, and managing the Functional Cost capability within the One Voyager Vena model. The manager will leverage AI tools to accelerate analysis, automate deliverables, and continuously improve financial insight.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the end‑to‑end consolidation and planning cycle for all corporate SG&A, ensuring accuracy from annual budget and quarterly reforecast through long‑range planning.
  • Maintain the Functional Cost capability within Voyager’s One Voyager Vena model, building and managing SG&A dimensions so functional spend flows directly into the enterprise model.
  • Serve as the strategic financial partner to enterprise function leaders, providing actionable spend visibility within two business days of close and variance explanations within five days.
Pathway to Profitability & Investment Analysis
  • Build and maintain financial models linking SG&A leverage, revenue growth, and gross margin expansion to a management‑actionable view of Voyager’s trajectory to AEBITDA positive by the end of Q4 2027.
  • Evaluate proposed enterprise function investments with ROI models and business cases, framing each decision as accretive or dilutive to the profitability timeline.
  • Track SG&A as a percentage of revenue, benchmark against comparable companies, and prepare Board‑ and investor‑ready analyses on SG&A trends and profitability progress.
AI‑Driven Insight & Process Improvement
  • Leverage Claude and other AI tools to accelerate research, draft variance commentary, and test model assumptions, identifying new use cases that advance Voyager’s AI roadmap.
  • Identify and drive process improvements across SG&A financial planning, reporting, and period‑end close, reducing manual effort and improving cycle speed.
  • Partner with analytics and technology teams to define SG&A data products for the enterprise data platform, ensuring data flows cleanly into self‑service reporting tools.
Qualifications Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of progressive FP&A or corporate finance experience, owning corporate SG&A or enterprise function budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Hands‑on proficiency in Vena or an equivalent EPM/CPM platform, with model‑building and dimension management experience.
  • Active use of AI tools, including Claude or comparable large language models, to accelerate financial analysis and improve deliverables.
  • Proven ability to build complex, multi‑driver financial models, including investment analysis, ROI modeling, payback analysis, and scenario planning.
  • Strong GAAP foundation and deep knowledge of income statement and SG&A cost structure dynamics.
  • Exceptional communication and executive presentation skills, translating financial complexity into clear, decision‑ready narratives.
Preferred
  • Experience at a high‑growth, pre‑profitability, or recently public technology or defense company with EBITDA bridge analysis and investor‑facing deliverables.
  • Executive business‑partnering skills, building trusted relationships with C‑suite and VP‑level leaders.
  • Experience supporting external guidance processes, such as Board‑of‑Directors reporting packages or IR preparation.
  • Ability to operate in ambiguity, imposing structure and delivering on deadlines in a rapidly evolving environment.
  • MBA, CPA, or CMA.
  • Advanced proficiency in Net Suite or comparable…
