Our client, a growing health services organization, is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to join their team. This interim opportunity offers strong potential for contract-to-hire conversion and the chance to make an immediate impact during a critical period of growth. Location:
Hybrid – Denver, CO (3 days/week onsite)
Pay Rate: $50+/hour (W2, based on experience)
What’s the Job?- Lead and oversee end-to-end accounts payable operations, including high-volume invoice processing, coding, approvals and payment execution.
- Ensure accuracy, timeliness and compliance across AP processes while maintaining strong internal controls and audit readiness.
- Utilize and optimize Sage Intacct and Yooz to drive efficient workflows and accurate system integration.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and implement enhanced workflows, automation and controls to scale operations.
- Provide hands-on leadership, guidance and support to the AP team while delivering reporting and visibility into key AP metrics and performance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience.
- Demonstrated experience managing high-volume accounts payable operations in a large public company environment.
- Proficiency with ERP and AP automation tools.
- Strong knowledge of internal controls, compliance, audit processes and continuous improvement best practices.
