I’m currently partnering with a premier, vertically integrated national real estate investment firm to find a sharp Asset Management Associate to join their Denver office. With over 35 years of history and billions in transactions under their belt, this firm operates a highly diverse national portfolio that spans conventional market-rate multifamily (from premier urban high-rises to suburban garden-style communities) alongside unique neighborhood niche concepts.
They are incredibly well-regarded across the industry for their sophisticated, data-driven approach to value-add investing, operational excellence, and front-runner adoption of proptech.
As an Asset Management Associate, you won't just be tracking data—you’ll actively drive value across a designated portfolio. You will work side-by-side with senior leadership, the acquisitions team, and regional operations to execute comprehensive property business plans
Key responsibilities include- Financial Engineering:
Maintaining complex asset-level financial models, cash flow projections, internal valuations, and hold/sell analyses - Strategy Execution:
Participating heavily in the annual budget process, comparing asset performance against original underwriting benchmarks, and tracking KPI variance - transaction Support:
Playing a vital role in recapitalizations, refinancing, and disposition activities as multi-year business plans hit maturity - Operational Synergy:
Conducting property site visits, auditing local capital improvement projects, and collaborating with property management teams to maximize NOI
- Experience:
2–4 years of formal real estate asset management, investment banking, or analytical experience (multifamily or residential sector exposure is a massive plus, but strong RE financial fundamentals are king) - Technical Chops:
Elite Excel modeling skills. Exposure to institutional RE software (like Yardi) is highly preferred - Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, or a related business field - Mindset:
You are highly numbers-driven but possess the communication skills required to translate a financial model into a cohesive, executive-level business presentation. You’re ready to thrive in a collaborative environment that balances an institutional platform with an entrepreneurial, tech-forward bent.
