Why this job – SENIOR ACCOUNTANT:

The Senior Accountant oversees financial activities for international markets, ensuring accurate transaction review and compliance with U.S. and international regulations. Responsibilities include acting as a liaison with funding organizations, supporting financial reporting and audits, managing billing for funding sources, and contributing to financial analysis for strategic decisions and transparency.

What You'll Actually Do:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP
• Manage relationships with funding sources, including budget coordination, billing, and audit prep
• Collaborate with international teams to meet deadlines and deliver accurate reports
• Generate invoices for sponsor ships and memberships
• Manage accounts receivable, reconcile monthly, monitor aging, and follow up on outstanding balances

To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Need:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• 5-8 years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP
• Internal auditing experience (highly preferred)
• Experience with foreign currency
• Strong communication skills
• Time management and ability to prioritize
• Teamwork and collaboration skills
• Proactive process improvement mindset
• Ability to travel for Board meetings

Where and How Much:

• Target Compensation: $90K - $100K DOE
• Hybrid schedule:
  Monday, Tuesday & Thursday in Downtown Denver, 8-hour days with flexible start/end times
• During training, 4 days/week in the office
