Job DescriptionAs a Financial Institution Senior Consultant focused on SOX and FDICIA, you will work closely with client executives and management teams to understand their businesses and assist in identifying and managing regulatory compliance risks within their processes and systems. You will directly assist clients in staying compliant with new or updated financial institution regulations, implement requirements, translate regulatory mandates, and keep up‑to‑date on existing compliance regulations.
You will develop and maintain a broad knowledge of the industry, support our internal audit practice as a subject‑matter expert, provide strategic business advice, manage client engagement teams including staffing, billing and collections, and ensure client profitability targets are met. You will also network internally and externally, invest in your professional development and support the growth of team members.
- Work closely with client executives and management teams to understand their businesses and assist in identifying and managing regulatory compliance risks within their business processes and systems.
- Directly assist clients in being compliant with new or updated financial institution regulations.
- Implement new or updated regulatory requirements, translating them to ensure financial institution compliance.
- Stay up‑to‑date on existing compliance regulations.
- Develop and maintain a broad knowledge of the financial institution industry and regulatory changes, identifying potential impacts to compliance audit programs.
- Support our internal audit practice as a subject‑matter expert on regulatory and compliance topics.
- Provide strategic business advice to clients by assisting in the implementation of new regulatory requirements.
- Assist with managing client engagement teams, including staffing, billings/collections, and ensuring client profitability targets are met.
