North Face: Senior Analyst, Pricing & Costing

Responsibilities

The Senior Analyst of Pricing and Costing will report to The North Face, Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis. The role partners closely with the Regional Product & Merchandising organization and finance teams to develop the seasonal pricing architecture. The analyst builds, analyzes, and summarizes the seasonal pricing model to provide an initial pricing structure for the Region, partners with the Director of FP&A to develop a long‑term sustainable pricing review and identify opportunities for margin improvement, and performs ad‑hoc financial modeling for special projects and establishes cost‑related standards and procedures.

• Prepare and manage the costing and pricing timetable for the Americas Region
• Coordinate the generation of seasonal sales price lists in collaboration with Category Merchandising, Customer Service, and Sales Enablement
• Present proposed price lists and expected seasonal standard margin versus targets to The North Face leadership and the Americas CFO
• Generate seasonal standard costs based on FOBs collected, VF exchange rates, and overheads
• Discuss with product development the differences between expected and actual margins, prevent extra costs, and secure commitment on negotiations
• Collaborate with other VF brands to align pricing processes
• Attend Regional Sales meetings and join price discussions with Sales & Merchandising leadership
• Provide product margin support to GTM at relevant steps
• Own royalty payouts for collaborating partners on a quarterly basis
• Oversee quarterly category analysis (e.g., customer margins by quarter/product type)
• Create ad‑hoc closeout/discount analysis models
• Monitor and authorize SMU requests and changes to line lists after line‑lock
• Work with sales force on special pricing/programs, selecting the best performing special prices for single accounts and following up until discount checks are performed by customer service

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related quantitative discipline; MBA a plus but not required
• 3+ years of relevant experience and professional achievements
• Advanced Excel and PC skills; SAP experience preferred
• Knowledge of financial concepts, budgeting, forecasting, and strong financial modeling skills
• Ability to partner across functions and drive process improvements and business results
• Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical skills; ability to troubleshoot and analyze new issues
• Self‑starter with a proactive working style; able to work independently
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills

Hybrid role.

Hiring Range: $73,440.00 USD – $91,800.00 USD annually.

This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential. Specific details will be provided during the recruiting and interview process.
