Corporate Development Manager
Location:
Denver, Colorado (in‑office two days per week)
WVP is a private equity backed company that acquires, invests in, and supports veterinary practices and animal hospitals across the United States. Post‑acquisition, WVP supports partner practices with non‑clinical business services.
Primary Responsibilities- Collect financial and preliminary diligence information from targets to evaluate opportunities and risks.
- Build detailed financial models for new hospital acquisitions and investment opportunities, including joint ventures.
- Perform pro forma valuation analyses and create purchase price considerations and acquisition structures.
- Prepare investment memoranda to secure investment approval.
- Draft proposals such as indications of interest and letters of intent for acquisition targets.
- Conduct post‑LOI due diligence, covering financial, accounting, operations, HR/benefits, and legal areas.
- Develop clear, organized communication across internal functions (Integrations, Operations, Legal, Accounting, Payroll, HR).
- Provide consistent and clear communication to external parties throughout the due diligence and execution process.
- Located in Denver, Colorado.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or related field.
- Minimum of three years of experience in M&A or related transaction roles (investment banking, private equity, consulting, or similar).
- Excellent critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of financial analysis, strategic initiatives, and deal structuring.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently, cross‑functionally, and manage a high volume of projects.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Capability to meet deadlines in a timely manner.
Salary: $140,000 – $160,000 (inclusive of bonus). Pay is determined by location and other factors.
