Job Description
Client Relationship Consultants build relationships with customers, engaging them via multiple channels including in-person, by appointment, and virtually to provide the best possible counsel while adopting a digital‑first mindset. Responsibilities include obtaining and processing customer and account information, educating clients on available deposit and loan products, recommending solutions based on each customer’s goals, and fostering strong client relationships through proactive outreach and follow‑up.
The role also involves maintaining knowledge of consumer and business banking products, ensuring a consistent optimal client experience, collaborating with branch team members, opening new accounts, completing service requests, submitting credit applications, and leveraging technology to optimize the client experience.
This position requires National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation
Z. Candidates must undergo a criminal background and credit check, and failure to maintain the required registration may result in rescission of the offer or termination of employment.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Typically has a minimum of four to five years of retail banking experience, or a combination of experience and commensurate training
- Proven ability to build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow‑up
- Effective engagement and communication with clients
- Thorough knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures, and support systems
- Comprehensive knowledge of all retail products and services
- Proven customer service and interpersonal skills
- Experience participating in sales campaigns/promotions
- Experience using and demonstrating digital products and self‑service technologies
- Ability to explore and identify a customer’s true needs while leveraging a digital‑first mindset
- Advanced proficiency in making appropriate recommendations that meet customer needs both reactively and proactively
Requires working from a U.S. Bank location for all scheduled work days.

Salary Range$27.22 - 33.26 hourly
