Senior Associate – Transaction Advisory Services

A well‑established advisory firm is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Transaction Advisory Services team. This role supports a wide range of clients—including private equity groups, family offices, lenders, and corporations—by delivering high‑quality financial due diligence and insights that drive informed investment decisions

About the Role

As a Senior Associate, you will play a key role in both buy‑side and sell‑side engagements, performing deep financial analysis, preparing diligence reports, and collaborating closely with engagement leaders throughout each project lifecycle.

Primary Responsibilities

• Financial due diligence
  - Support buy‑side and sell‑side engagements across diverse industries and client types.
• Quality of Earnings analysis
  - Analyze income statements, balance sheets, and operating cash flows; reconcile financial data; maintain and monitor data rooms.
• Operational analysis
  - Evaluate target company operations to quantify impacts on valuation and help stakeholders understand business performance.
• Project communication
  - Work closely with engagement leads to ensure smooth execution throughout the diligence process.
• Cross‑functional collaboration
  - Partner with other advisory divisions as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA license preferred
• 2+ years of Big 4, public accounting, or transaction advisory
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• High attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and Power Point
• Naturally curious about transactions, industries, and business dynamics
• Hybrid role based in Denver or Chicago or Dallas
• Occasional travel (up to 10%)
• Compensation: $80,000–$100,000 base, depending on experience, plus bonus opportunity
