Job Responsibilities
  • Americas Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead the preparation, analysis, and reporting of key financial and operational metrics;
    Own the monthly forecasting process;
    Prepare and facilitate monthly and quarterly business reviews;
    Lead the development of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and support long‑range strategic planning;
    Perform ROI analysis for capital expenditures, productivity projects, and new product investments;
    Develop and automate financial reporting and dashboards using Power BI.
  • Global FP&A Support: Coordinate and consolidate global FP&A activities across the Americas, Europe, and Asia;
    Report daily business performance against forecast;
    Standardize reporting and improve forecasting accuracy;
    Support global and regional leadership teams with ad‑hoc analyses and strategic initiatives;
    Contribute to continuous improvement of FP&A processes and tools.
  • Manufacturing Cost Accounting & Inventory Management: Lead inventory and cost accounting activities for the Denver manufacturing facility;
    Maintain and enhance standard costing methodologies;
    Analyze manufacturing and inventory variances;
    Oversee inventory control processes;
    Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial reporting requirements.
  • Leadership & Team Development: Manage, coach, and develop direct reports;
    Foster continuous improvement and operational excellence;
    Serve as a trusted business partner;
    Model IDEX values of Team, Trust, and Excellence.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field required; MBA, CPA/GAAP, or CMA preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in financial planning & analysis, corporate finance, or operational finance within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing operations and cost accounting processes.
  • Demonstrated experience leading budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes.
  • Strong financial modeling, analytical, and business partnering skills.
  • Experience with in a global or multi‑regional business environment preferred.
  • Prior leadership or direct people‑management experience preferred.

Essential Functions

Majority of the time is spent sitting. Requires use of hands and arms at least 60% of the time. Lifting requirements are generally less than 10 lbs., with manual lifting potentially up to 50 lbs. Close vision and the ability to adjust focus are necessary. Abstract mental reasoning is required to analyze production and accounting information. The work is performed in a climate‑controlled office environment with occasional time on the manufacturing shop floor.
