L​/S Equity Analyst, TMT

A leading investment firm is looking to add a Long/Short Equity Analyst focused on TMT to its investment team in Denver. The role will focus on fundamental research and generating actionable long and short investment ideas across the TMT landscape.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct fundamental research on publicly traded TMT companies
• Identify and develop differentiated long and short investment ideas
• Build and maintain detailed financial models and valuation frameworks
• Perform company, industry, and competitive analysis
• Conduct primary and secondary research, including management interactions and expert calls
• Develop detailed investment theses and present recommendations to the investment team
• Monitor portfolio holdings, catalysts, earnings, and key industry developments
• Work closely with senior investment professionals throughout the research and investment process

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in fundamental public equities, investment banking, private equity, or a related analytical role
• Strong interest in TMT / technology investing
• Demonstrated ability to analyze businesses, financial statements, and industry dynamics
• Strong financial modeling and valuation skills
• Experience developing and communicating investment views
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly analytical, intellectually curious, and detail-oriented
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative investment team
