Senior Mortgage Loan Officer

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Loan Officer role based in Colorado / New Mexico. The Senior Loan Officer will manage the end-to-end loan origination process, including initial borrower consultations, prequalification, application intake, and documentation review. Daily responsibilities include assessing borrower eligibility, coordinating with underwriting, explaining loan products and terms, and guiding customers through the approval and closing process.

The role also involves maintaining strong relationships with clients, real estate partners, and internal teams, while ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulations. The Senior Loan Officer is expected to consistently deliver a high level of customer service, meet production goals, and contribute to the growth of the local market.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in loan origination and experience in a Senior Loan Officer or similar lending role.
• Strong background in finance and underwriting, with the ability to analyze creditworthiness and loan risk.
• Proven customer service skills, with a focus on clear communication, relationship building, and client education.
• In-depth knowledge of mortgage products, lending regulations, and industry best practices.
• Ability to work remotely.
• Advanced proficiency with loan origination systems and standard office software.
• Fluency in English;
  Spanish language skills strongly beneficial for local client interactions.
• Track record of meeting or exceeding sales and production targets in a lending environment.
