OVERVIEW:As a Planning Support Specialist, you will be integral to the seamless operation of our financial planning processes. Your role requires meticulous attention to detail and a dedication to maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency within a dynamic, fast-paced team. You will collaborate closely with the team to deliver exceptional service and support, helping clients achieve their financial goals.
Key responsibilities include but not limited to:
FINANCIAL PLANNING OPERATIONS:- Coordinate with the team & clients to gather and organize information necessary for developing comprehensive financial plans.
- Prepare detailed materials, including but not limited to:
- Plan presentations
- Investment and risk product proposals
- Performance reports
- Marketing materials
- Preparation prior to client/prospective client meetings
- Review file contents and case notes
- Gather documents per need and general file organization
- Run insurance proposals and in-force illustrations
- Perform data-entry and general review in our proprietary planning software
- Prepare and review all necessary paperwork and agendas
- Utilize Northwestern Mutual's CRM system to maintain accurate client records, track interactions, and ensure data integrity.
- Leverage CRM insights to support financial planning processes and enhance client engagement strategies.
- Utilize Northwestern Mutual’s illustration system and planning software to run proposals and perform data entry tasks as dictated by leadership.
- Review balance sheets and investment statements, demonstrating attention to detail by identifying discrepancies.
- Conduct research as directed, ensuring thoroughness and accuracy.
- Engage in client communication ensuring professionalism and clarity.
- Maintain proactive communication with internal teams to facilitate efficient processes.
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree required;
Life and Health Insurance License must be obtained within the first six months. - Experience:
Industry experience preferred. - Technical Proficiency:
Mastery level proficiency, comfort, and efficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
