A client of Insight Global is seeking a Finance Operations Support Specialist to support a large-scale technical organization focused on infrastructure, operations, and digital transformation initiatives. This individual will serve as a critical partner to program managers, business stakeholders, procurement teams, and vendors by ensuring financial processes, budget management, and contract administration activities run efficiently and accurately.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with complex financial data, managing budgets, tracking vendor spend, and driving operational excellence. The Finance Operations Support Specialist will play a key role in financial forecasting, purchase order management, contract coordination, budget reconciliation, and executive reporting. The successful candidate will be highly analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable collaborating across multiple teams in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage operational and capital expenditure budgets, forecasts, and spend tracking. Monitor vendor burn rates, invoice accuracy, and budget utilization. Support purchase order management, contract administration, SOW processing, and change order requests. Coordinate with procurement, legal, finance, and vendor partners to ensure timely approvals and service continuity. Maintain financial dashboards, budget trackers, and executive-level reporting materials. Audit vendor financial data, labor allocations, bill rates, and resource forecasts to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, onboarding issues, and financial support requests. Facilitate financial review meetings and maintain documentation to support transparency and audit readiness. Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on financial performance and budget trends.

Pay Range is $65-$75/hr
