Middle Office Operations Reconciliations Analyst
Immediate need for a talented Middle Office Operations Reconciliations Analyst. This 18+ months contract opportunity located in Denver, CO (Hybrid).
Pay Range: $42.00/hr - $44.00/hr

Key Responsibilities:
- The Middle Office team manages key operational processes across the trade lifecycle including:
Trade Capture, Matching, Settlement, Accounting Integration, Pricing and Corporate Action processing. - Support daily client trade activity across a wide range of asset types including listed equities, fixed income, and derivative instruments.
- Perform time‑critical functions daily, gathering and verifying information from various sources in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
- Ensure daily reporting to relevant Oversight teams accurately reflects trade data and provides sufficient commentary.
- Identify and resolve transaction discrepancies with external and internal parties: unmatched/failed trades, pricing discrepancies, dividend/coupon variations, foreign exchange, derivatives, account overdrafts, and bank wires.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad‑hoc reporting for internal and external clients; assist with follow‑up questions.
- Research and resolve complex issues.
- Continuously review processes to identify improvements, new efficiencies, and increased quality and controls.
- May be required to work on holidays.
Key Requirements and Technology
Experience:
- Trade capture, matching, settlement and integration into accounting system.
- Processing of lifecycle events and security set‑up in accounting system.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience.
- 1–3 years related financial industry experience.
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and drive solutions.
- Strong interest and willingness to learn in the financial services industry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Track record of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to identify and prioritize tasks appropriately.
- Working knowledge of various security types: equity, debt, private instruments, derivatives, etc.
- Experience in mutual fund operations (back or middle office).
- Experience with SWIFT messaging formats.
- Proven ability to maintain a customer‑service focused attitude in a high‑pressure environment.
- Ability to work independently within established guidelines and strict operational controls.
