Our client is seeking a Finance Associate Attorney to join its Banking & Financial Services practice in Denver, Colorado
. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with 3-5 years of debt finance experience who is looking to work on sophisticated commercial lending and finance transactions in a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Draft and negotiate credit agreements, security documents, and other loan documentation.
  • Manage and close commercial lending and finance transactions.
  • Represent financial institutions, lenders, and corporate borrowers in a broad range of financing matters.
  • Work closely with partners and clients on complex commercial finance transactions.
  • Provide legal support throughout all stages of lending transactions.

  • Commercial banks
  • Farm Credit System institutions
  • Community banks
  • Non-bank lenders
  • Private equity sponsors
  • Family offices
  • Public and private companies
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of general debt finance experience.
  • Experience drafting:
    • Credit agreements
    • Security documents
    • Loan documents
  • Experience closing commercial lending transactions.
  • Strong academic credentials.
  • Prior law firm experience preferred.
  • Active Colorado Bar license or eligibility to waive into Colorado.

Compensation
  • Base Salary: $215,000 - $245,000, depending on experience, qualifications, skills, and location.
  • Performance-based discretionary merit bonus.
  • Compensation structure based on an annual 1,850 billable hour target.
