The AVP, Senior Loan Administrator is responsible for the timely processing of loan transactions from application through funding and closing. This role supports all loan parties and performs duties related to the collection and review of due diligence and the closing and funding of loans. Performs all duties in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures, all U.S. state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the Company operates.
HOWYOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
- Audit loan files prepared for funding and boarding to verify completeness and confirm that Bank requirements and guidelines have been met and appropriate documentation has been provided.
- Analyze prepared balancing sheets when assistance is needed and coordinate estimated funding amounts with escrow, including prepaid interest for escrow transactions.
- Request funding and boarding after satisfactory completion of funding and boarding file reviews.
- Collaborate closely with clients, Relationship Managers, and other loan team members to manage expectations and ensure timely loan closings.
- Handle complex loans, including transactions involving outside legal documentation and correspondence, syndications, participations, and specialized lending.
- Perform pre-funding validation of the internal SOX control related to loan origination funding.
- Review loan files and packages to ensure all documentation required for each transaction is included.
- Analyze transaction types and determine the due diligence items and legal documents required to support accurate closings and compliance with Bank and regulatory requirements and procedures.
- Identify open items promptly and work with the appropriate parties to collect the necessary documentation.
- Manage and update the open-items list as documentation is received and reviewed.
- Coordinate insurance requirements with customers, insurance brokers, and Relationship Managers to ensure proper insurance documentation is collected in a timely manner.
