Overview

Responsibilities
  • Grants Management: manage the day-to-day grants activity in coordination with the Director of Grants & Compliance, overseeing billing staff and program staff to ensure compliance with regulations and grant requirements and prepare financial reports as required by granting agencies and management.
  • Point of contact: first point of contact for grant related inquiries both internally and externally.
  • Training and guidance: responsible for initial and continuous training and guidance of Grant Analysts and Grant Billers, various internal staff, and subrecipients to ensure a high standard of grants compliance across the organization.
  • Billing and compliance: review billings for accuracy and compliance with requirements, maintain accounting records within GAAP and Uniform Grants Guidance, and coordinate the single audit.
  • Financial operations: review and record general ledger maintenance, financial accounting activity, and account reconciliations.
  • Location and reporting: hybrid position located at 2111 Champa St., Denver, CO 80205 and reports to the Director of Grants & Compliance.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business or related field is required; relevant work experience may substitute for degree.
  • Extensive experience in grant billing preferred.
  • Supervisory or management experience in grant management preferred.
  • Previous experience using and maintaining a computerized accounting system required; experience with Sage Intacct software preferred.

Additional Information
  • Salary: $101,278 - $120,915 per year; placement within range depends on total relevant years of experience.
