Financial Program Analyst

Position location:

One year (52 full weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to GS-13 in federal service. Required experience includes:

• Evaluating and providing recommendations to financial policies for federal initiatives or programs.
• Managing audits and ensuring risk management programs fulfill legislative mandates and requirements.
• Using automated financial resources management systems, databases, and Microsoft Excel for performing risk evaluation, data analysis, tests control activity, and financial reporting.
• Preparing written products such as reports, briefings, or statements.

One year (52 full weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to GS-12 in federal service. Required experience includes:

• Evaluating financial policies for federal initiatives or programs.

The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
