** Who We Are
**** The DCC
** The mission of Denver County Court is to administer justice fairly, efficiently, and effectively; provide excellent customer service, and foster a positive environment where employees enjoy their work. The City and County of Denver’s third branch of government is comprised of 19 judges, 4 full-time magistrates, and 300 staff members. Case types include state, civil, small claims, traffic, criminal, and other general sessions cases within the City and County of Denver.

The Denver County Court proudly serves the community and continually seeks ways to incorporate procedural fairness and evidence-based practices. Denver County Court Specialty Courts & Programming division is currently seeking a Screener (Outreach Case Coordinator II) to join the team.
** The Sobriety Court Program
** Sobriety Court was established in 2011, to support individuals with repeat DUI offenses, build lasting recovery and create healthier, more stable lives. Rather than relying solely on traditional court processes, Sobriety Court offers a structured, supportive program that combines treatment, accountability, and encouragement. Sobriety Court supports recovery and reduces impaired driving by providing a collaborative, respectful, and accountable approach that promotes participant success, personal growth, and community safety.

Participants in Sobriety Court work closely with a team of professionals who provide individualized support, treatment services, and regular check-ins. Participation is voluntary and based on both legal and clinical eligibility and includes five phases that typically take approximately 14–24 months to complete. Sobriety Court is a state accredited treatment court designed for adults with second or third DUI offenses.
** The Recovery Court Program
** Recovery Court was established in 2026, and is a collaborative treatment court program serving individuals with misdemeanor and low-level felony drug and drug-adjacent misdemeanor charges. Recovery Court offers a specialized, systemic process for a pathway to recovery that prioritizes the individual’s unique needs and places them at the center of their own care. This program focuses on individuals struggling with substance misuse and/or co-occurring challenges which may include a brain injury, a mental health condition(s), and/or trauma.

Successful completion of the program can lead to a case being pleaded down or a case being dismissed and the potential for the individual to have their record sealed.
** What You'll Do
** Denver County Court (DCC) is seeking a full-time Screener to conduct screening assessments for individuals who may be eligible for participation in two specialty court programs, Recovery Court and Sobriety Court. DCC’s Specialty…
